It is an honour to be the Founding Principal of this bespoke and innovative school. I look forward to leading an outstanding learning community staff, parents, and students alike and inspiring our future community members and leaders to embrace growth. Surrounded by opportunities to create change, we begin transformation from within, expanding outward to make a lasting impact.

My passion for nurturing “child-friendly” education and my commitment to fostering lifelong learners have, with the full support of the school's Board of Directors, driven me to create this unique environment. Here, children are excited and curious to learn, equipped with adaptive 21st-century skills to thrive in an ever-changing world.

The Village School Gold Coast is a child-focused, play- and skills-based community school that provides curiosity-led and place-based learning experiences with consistent low student to teacher ratio. We ensure that we hold ourselves accountable to the highest standards by meeting our students’ needs precisely and completely; ensuring that as a learning community, the students overall best interest comes first, to service their educational needs. This will be further supported with our individualised and personalised social skills program and integrated daily Australian Curriculum experiences.

Our values of intention, curiosity, awareness, and nurture together spelling 'I CAN' enrich and underpin all of our teaching and learning experiences, and are evident in everything we do at The Village School Gold Coast. We offer a unique, child-friendly learning environment that is deeply connected to the real world. Our assessments are child-driven and designed for authentic audiences, with educators who meet each child exactly where they are.

These values not only reflect the exceptional learning environment our students enjoy, but also guide the future direction of our school. We believe deeply in honouring the First Nations people who walked this land before us, celebrating the diversity of our community, and immersing students in real-world learning.
